The CTA has been constructed using a containing bearing frame type structure, to which the heat insulation panels (panels thickness : approx. 45 mm) are applied.
The station is constructed with boxed section aluminium joined together by die-cast aluminium elements and double wall sandwich closing panels and internally reinforced and constructed in galvanised sheet metal with insertion of thermo-insulating basaltic fibre material having a density not less than 70 kg/m3.
The internal walls, according to structural and acoustic requirements, are in solid or perforated galvanised sheet metal and the external walls are in visible galvanised sheet metal.
CTA units for external use are fitted with flat roof in galvanised sheet metal.
The unit is supplied in sections and the coupling of the different parts is by means of galvanised bolts, with the insertion of self-adhesive seals.

Fe/Al heating battery and Cu/Al cooling battery. The batteries are placed on guides for easier extraction.
HUMIDIFYING SECTION WITH EVAPORATING PACK, WITH NOZZLE OR WITH VAPOUR GENERATOR
Tank of humidifying section in galvanised steel or INOX with bottom drainage and overflow, Drips separator in galvanised steel, Centrifugal pump, On-off valve on pump in delivery, Water level topping up, Conduction water level probe (for non-demineralised water) or float, High level alarm, solenoid valve closure, solenoid valve opening, low level alarm
Double intake fan mounted on single motor/fan base-plate and without rigid connections to the unit structure, as it is connected to it by vibration damper supports and joint in rubberised canvas on pressing mouth.
Drive is by means of belts and pulleys and Three-phase asynchronous motor as per IEC standards IP 55
To save energy, Savio offers the possibility to insert crossed flow or rotary type recovery units .
The CTA can be equipped with:
Lighting points consisting of internal lamp (power supply 220 Volt single phase ) and external switch
Safety microswitch on access door almost always fitted with inspection window
